Sewing Instructions

11. Collect 48 deep dark 3 1/2" squares that you have cut and 48 Clear light 3 1/2" squares. There will be 12 deep dark ones left over, put aside for now. 
    
12. Join these together in pairs by chain piecing them through your machine. This saves on thread and time! Refer diagram 1.
    
13. Next get those 12 leftover deep dark 3 1/2" squares! Join them onto 12 of the units you have just completed so that the sequence is 1-5-1. Refer to diagram 2. Then add another unit of 2 to the other side, diagram 3. Chain piece these together again.
