Quilting design patterns I love machine quilting as well as hand quilting! The designs today are wonderful & the special effects you can create on your sewing machines whether they be top of the line or not are numerous. Below are some wonderful designs by Australian designer, Keryn Emmerson. They come in both pattern packs and spiral bound books and come highly recommended by our own Lee Cleland from “Quilting Makes the Quilt” by That Patchwork Place fame. These designs are perfect for quilts which need something special for the quilting. They can be resized to fit individual spaces, and combined to form larger motifs or borders. Because the designs fit together they can also be combined to make patterns for table scarves and runners, or cushions and small wallhangings.
